Life Lessons I Learned From Harvey
Life Lessons I Learned From "Harvey"
One of my favorite films is Harvey, starring Jimmy Stewart - here is a list of life lessons I learned from - I hope you enjoy.
1. Be the calm, in the midst of everyone else's storm
2. Everyone, is crazy, and neurotic, in their own right, in some form and some fashion.
3. There is redeeming value in everyone in spite of whatever level of craziness and neurosis they may have
4. Women bring out the beauty of flowers
5. It's okay to not be normal, normal people can be real "stinkers"
6. The business and complications of everyday life, often prevent us from seeing and enjoying the simple things.
7. One can never have too many friends
8. One should never be so busy to not be kind.
9. Avoid formula 977, it can change your perception on life
10. Your friends do not have to like your other friends
11. Let kindness rule the day.
12. If you are in a small town, and a large 6 foot, 3 and a half foot tall white rabbit who you have never met, who is standing against a light pole calls your name as you are walking by, you should not be surprised, because in a small town - everyone knows your name.
13. All women are beautiful, and should be honored
14. Offer deference to others
and most important!
15. One can be ever so smart, or ever so pleasant, being ever so pleasant is recommended.
